Celebrity Artist Designer Teresa Fe-Fe Barrow is the driving force behind Teresa Fe-Fe Designs (formerly Exquisite Taste of Art). Ms. Fe-Fe Uniquely created designs consisted of hand painted jackets, purses, hats, shoes and wall art. Her Unique Creativity has landed her in numerous magazines, videos, plays and runway shows with her designs being seen Internationally. Ms. Fe-Fe is also one of the Designers for Glenn Jones, Mike Epps, Lakeside and Con Funk Shun with the lead singer and bass player being her Celebrity Brand Ambassadors. She has positioned herself with being highly sought after by many performing artist for Unique stage Designs. To date, one of her main accomplishments is opening her own Art and Fashion Design Studio for Men and Women in Crete, IL..
She began painting as a child and drawing on walls while getting in tons of trouble by her late Mom. Teresa Fe-Fe would often rip up her new clothes or paint on them because to her the basic fashion was boring. She constantly drew on the walls because it was a huge canvas for her. After trying her hands with being a long time hair Stylist as well as baking she decided to go back to her roots of what she loved most and that’s painting. Now, getting started was not an easy challenge for her, which was ok because she’s always been up and ready for a challenge even as a child.
Her mom's illness sparked her entrepreneurship. When asked the question of her former employment “if you received a call telling you your Mom was rushed to the hospital what would you do”? Being the person she is, told them the truth “Go by my Mom’s side”… with that time off Fe-Fe turned her talents into a business. Not seeing the long hard road it was going to be to step out and start this venture, she put on her big girl shoes and set out.
Her main issue was other people in the business not wanting to share the information. It could have been something as simple where are the shows or where to find better resourcing. To even asking established people to wear her garments. However, with hard work, determination as well as her willingness to help others has landed Fe-Fe in a position where she has persevered into a known Artist Designer and sought after by Celebrities with having a couple as her Brand Ambassador’s. She now has an Art and Fashion Studio in Crete, IL which caters to her personal clients as well as other boutiques.
Her first Major contact in the business came about by helping a friend get ready for a HUGE show in Vegas where he was the host. Being herself, when the outfit was showed to her, she was like “oh no you’re absolutely not wearing that”. So, she stepped in and changed the full outfit and designed one of her one of a Kind Hand Painted Blazers for her friend and repaired the pants. Her friend was so grateful and said “Sis, I got you. Thank you so so much for helping me”. As promised her friend kept his word, 3am my phones chimes…. In caps “I TOLD YOU I GOT YOU”… Then she gave names of the Celebrities who fell in love with the jackets. Once I called them they explained “she had been waiting for this phone call”.

Growing up Fe-Fe would say: I was shy and outspoken at the same time. I was and still are a protector and a person everyone comes to for their secrets to be told and kept.
She’s inspired by the colors and the life they bring to anything simple. Which she enjoys testing the waters of what people say don’t belong together. Her pieces are either Custom Designed or Redesigned. Her artistic creations are currently wall art, canvas arts, jewelry, handbags, clothes as well as boots and belts.
She’s been featured in numerous magazines, music videos, on stage on comedians, singers as well as stage plays. There is absolutely no stopping Ms FeFe when it comes to her creativity.
I must say I love the uniqueness of Teresa's designs because it adds a sense of playfulness and art to urbanwear. I appreciate that she also redesigns items so that people can build from something they already have because it shows that she's not so arrogant that she can't work with something that's already designed. Also by my father being an artist I can clearly see the profound impact of paint and fashion coming together it's a great mix that should be recognized!
This Photo shoot was done because for years because Fe-Fe was told She needs to open up a little so her current and future clients would know the real her. I’ve always been private and loved the background and prefer to paint and design versus being in the forefront. So, now is my time to step forward and let the world know WHO IS TERESA FE-FE.

"The biggest disappointment in my career was losing her Mom. She was her biggest fan, supporter as well as critic. She was behind the scenes doing a lot of fussing about what she should be doing and not procrastinating. Where to place the arts and the Styles. Once she lost her Mother she shut down for awhile and didn't want to ever think of painting again. One day she was laying in the bed crying and depressed and as clear as day she heard her Mother tell her to get up and get herself together that she DID NOT RAISE NO FAILURES. With that life being spoken into her she has come back stronger with a vengeance and won’t turn back. It was hard because with every step of the way, she was used to consulting with her Mom. However, she is her Silent Angel working behind the scenes from above.
What people should finally look out for this Summer is a collection however, still one of a Kind Hand Painted items . So, with that being said her Studio will be available by appointment for boutique owners to select a limited amount of designs from her collection."
Ms Fe-Fe has been in numerous Fashion weeks across the states as well as red carpet and fundraising fashion shows and charitable events, donating her time, fashions as well as money.
